Each day we have identified possible visits to historic chateaux and tourist attractions or recommended vineyards in most of the regional Appellations. There are optional short walking or cycling circuits, which may give you a flavour of our main programme of walking and cycling holidays.
We save you the hassle of planning a detailed holiday yourself by booking your ferry (or eurotunnel) crossing, all your hotels, usually on half-board terms, and provide a map and a detailed booklet outlining your journey and describing the wines and tourist attractions that you can visit.
In this way you can relax and enjoy to the full the changing scenery through which you are driving, the gourmet meals in prestigious hotels of character, the historic towns and cities, the tasting experience of a wide range of first class wines, and perhaps we can tempt you into just a little walking or cycling exercise.
Daily driving distances are short so that you have plenty of time to explore unhurriedly the places that you visit and many of our chosen 3 star hotels have swimming pools for a refreshing dip at the end of a warm day.
