Outward: Depart St Pancras International, change stations in Paris and arrive in Bordeaux late afternoon. Transfer to hotel included.

Arrival Bordeaux
Upon your arrival at Bordeaux train station or airport, you will be met and transferred directly to your first hotel at Pauillac, in the heart of the Medoc wine country. After settling in to the Château Cordeillan Bages, you will be given your trip package and have a final check on your bike fitting. Why not take a stroll or a swim before your gourmet dinner this evening?

Pauillac to Margaux
A shorter 16 mile ride today to your splendid accommodation at Château Marojallia, passing the beautiful Château Margaux --complimentary wine tasting at Château Lynch-Bages before leaving Pauillac.

Pauillac to St Emillion
Cycle to Lamarque and take the bac across to the tiny port of Blaye on the other bank of the Garonne. From here, it is a scenic estuary route to reach Bourg in time for lunch. The route then passes by vineyards in the Fronsac and Pomerol appellations before reaching St Emillion and the 5-star Hostellerie Plaisance.

Two circuit route options
Today, there are two loop rides available; one that takes in a section of the Dordogne riverside as far as Castillon la Bataille, and another for the more serious wine connaisseur that takes you through the Pomerols and satellite appelations to the north and east.
