Outward: Depart St Pancras International station, change stations in Paris and arrive Reims mid afternoon.

Return: Depart Reims mid morning, change stations in Paris, arrive St Pancras International late afternoon.

Day 1 Arrival Reims
- Check in at the 4 star Grand Hôtel des Templiers in the heart of old Reims and just a short walk from the famous Cathedral. Relax in the pool and spa before you head off to enjoy your meal in a nearby Michelin starred restaurant. HB
Day 2 Reims to Sept-Saulx - 8 miles (12.8km)
- Explore the city centre in the morning before a taxi takes you out of the city to the Fort de la Pompelle. A level canal side walk to the village of Sept-Saulx to limber up the muscles and a superb meal at the Hôtel le Cheval Blanc. HB
Day 3 Sept-Saulx to Bouzy - 15 miles (24km)
- the GR up into the woodland of the Montagne de Reims before descending to the pretty village of Bouzy. Stay at the quality Chambre d’Hôte Les Barbotines, a Champagne House where you can sample some of the produce before your transfer to nearby Tours-sur-Marne for your evening meal. HB
Day 4 Bouzy to Epernay - 12 miles (19.2km)
- Gently stroll through sleepy villages before a climb on to the vine-clad hills above the impressive town of Epernay. Descend and stay for two nights at the charming 3-star hotel La Villa Eugène, once the home of the Mercier Champagne family. B&B
Day 5 Day in Epernay
- An opportunity to explore the city of Epernay and visit the famous Champagne Houses, such as Mercier, Castellane, or Moet et Chandon. Or simply relax by the hotel pool perhaps with a glass of champagne in your hand! B&B with a good selections of restaurants just a short walk away.
Day 6 Epernay to Champillon - 10 miles (16km)
- Stroll through vineyards to Cumières. Perhaps take a boat trip or explore the pretty village of Hautvilliers, and then a couple of miles further to the Château Royal Champagne- Bellevue at Champillon and a truly gourmet dinner. HB
Day 7 Champillon to Rilly-la-Montagne - train to Reims - 6 miles (9.6km)
- A woodland walk across the Montagne de Reims descending to the village of Rilly-la-Montagne with its Premier Cru Champagne appellation. Take a twenty minute train ride into Reims for your final night at the Grand Hôtel des Templiers. B&B
