The Loire
- Day 1
Arrive in France in the early afternoon and drive 160 miles to Rouen to stay at the 3-star Auberge de l’Abbaye du Bec Hellouin with dinner included.
- Day 2
A round of golf at Champ de Bataille, recognized as one of the foremost courses in France. In the afternoon drive 200 miles south to the Loire Valley to stay two nights half board at the Auberge du Centre in the quiet village of Chitenay.
- Day 3
A round of golf at Château du Cheverny, a lovely flat course surrounded by a pine forest with views of the château, (partners may visit the château). In the afternoon a special wine-tasting at Domaine du Prieuré where your British host will guide you through a range of local wines.
Collect your complimentary bottles of wine as prizes for your sport. Afterwards perhaps visit the Garden Festival at Château de Chaumont before returning to your hotel.
- Day 4
Drive 45 miles to Golf de Touraine at Ballan Miré, a delightful course to the southwest of Tours, (partners may wish to explore Tours central shopping area). Return to Amboise for your final night and a gourmet meal at Château de Pray and present your prizes.
- Day 5
- Depart north, 350 miles, for your return Channel crossing in the late afternoon.

Chateau de Pray lies in the heart of the prestigious Loire Chateaux Region. A mile west of the town center, this château from 1224 resembles a tower-flanked castle on the Rhine.
