Rail Travel
Make your own way by rail to Dover where the station is about a fifteen minute walk to the ferry terminal. From there, your foot passage to Calais is included.
- Day 1 Arrival in Calais or Boulogne
- You will be met at the Port Terminal for taxi transfer to Wissant, where you stay B&B in the charming chambre d'hôte. There are three or four restaurants in the centre of Wissant for your evening meal.
- Day 2 Circuit walk - 11 miles (17.6km)
Today’s walk allows you to explore the coast and the hinterland of the Cap Griz-Nez. Between the villages of Audresselles and Wissant, the terrain alternates between vast sandy beaches and slate cliffs, affording amazing views.
- Day 3 Circuit walk - 12 miles (19.2km)
- Today’s itinery starts from Wissant and climbs the Mont de Coup nature reserve (164 metres). You will follow the rocky footpath taking you across the heights of the Cap Blanc-Nez from where you will have panoramic views.Return to Wissant following the beach.
- Day 4 Morning in Calais or Boulogne
Transfer back to Calais or Boulogne for lunch on the harbour or a bit of last minute shopping before taking the ferry home.
