• Day 3 Visit Les Jardins du Château de Maizicourt 35 miles (56km); arrival in Vron 38.4 miles (24km) - 24 miles (38.4km)
  • After a morning in Amiens, take a drive to Les Jardins du Château de Maizicourt. Again, this is a private garden, created by Catherine Guevenoux and her husband to their own design and resulting in 20 acres so charming, beautiful and full of delight, that the local tourist board begged them to open it. You will see why! Afterwards, drive to Le Clos du Moulin and a delicious meal in this characterful and comfortable country inn. HB
• Day 4 Visit Les Jardins de Valloires - 5 miles (8km)
  • Today, look forward to a day spent at the graceful Abbaye de Valloires and its glorious themed gardens. The beautiful white stone abbey creates an exquisite backdrop for colour, erupting throughout the year, including the Rose of Picardy, a red and pink beauty created to celebrate the entente cordiale. Lunches are a feature too, using produce of the garden, including the flowers! Then back to Vron and another enticing meal. HB
