Outward: Depart St Pancras International station, change stations in Paris, arrive Quimper late afternoon.Transfer to hotel at Pont l'Abbé not included (20 mins).

Return: Taxi transfer to Quimper the previous day included. Depart Quimper station in morning, change stations in Paris,arrive St Pancras International early evening.

  • Day 1 Arrival Pont l’Abbé
    • This historic little town is famous for its lace and embroidery, and some residents still wear traditional Breton dress. Your starting point is a comfortable Logis de France hotel. HB
  • Day 2 Pont l’Abbé to Saint Guénolé - 14 miles (22.4km)
    • Your route takes you towards the coast, past chapels and springs to the fishing ports on the south-west tip of Brittany. Your base for the night is a 2-star hotel with ocean views. HB
  • Day 3 Saint Guénolé to Lababan - 17 miles (27.2km)
    • Follow alongside the vast sandy beaches popular with surfers. You’ll pass Notre-Dame de Penhors, an example of Brittany’s culture and tradition, where religious pardons are still held, before arriving at the 3-star Hôtel Ker Ansquer. HB
  • Day 4 Lababan to Audierne - 14 miles (22.4km)
    • The rocky coastline leads you all the way to Audierne, a charming Breton fishing town where you can watch the boats come in with their catch at the end of the day. HB
  • Day 5 Day trip from Audierne - 4 miles (6.4km)
    • Enjoy a boat trip out to the Ile de Sein, a tiny island peeping out of the water, off the Pointe du Raz. Many of its 350 inhabitants live in the brightly painted houses along the quayside. Explore this other-worldly setting, before heading back to your 2-star hotel in Audierne. HB
  • Day 6 Audierne to Baie des Trépassés - 15 miles (24km)
    • A final day following the rugged coastline up to the protected site of the Pointe du Raz. Here, the granite and sandstone rocks are buffeted by the wind and the ocean. Watch the surf home crashing in from the comfort of your hotel. HB
  • Day 7 Quimper
    • If you’ve travelled by car you have a transfer back to Pont l’Abbé then drive to Quimper for your final night. If you’ve travelled by train you’re transferred back to Quimper where you can spend the day exploring before catching the train home the following morning after a night in a 3-star hotel. B&B
