Rail Travel

Outward: Depart St Pancras International station, change stations in Paris and trains in Rennes, arrive St Malo early evening.Transfer to hotel included (20 mins, about 30€).

Return: Return:Transfer to St Malo station included (20 mins), change trains at Rennes and stations in Paris, arrive St Pancras International station early evening.

  • Day 1 Arrival Dinard
    • Settle in at the elegant 3-star Roche Corneille, a beautifully converted Belle Epoque villa close to the beach and the little art galleries in the narrow streets. HB
  • Day 2 Day trip from Dinard - 20 miles (32km)
    • There are plenty of small coves to explore, as you pass through St Lunaire and St Briac sur Mer before heading down to Ploubalay and back to Dinard cross country. HB
  • Day 3 Dinard to Dinan - 16 miles (25.6km)
    • Head inland following the river Rance and the Voie Verte, a cycle path along a former railway track into Dinan. Your 3-star hotel, Le Jerzual, is right on the quayside, so you can watch the boats moor up for the evening from the terrace. HB
  • Day 4 Day trip from Dinan - 25 miles (40km)
    • A day’s cycling takes in Château de la Bourbansais with its zoo and gardens, before heading west through the countryside. Upon returning to Dinan, cool off in the outdoor pool. HB
  • Day 5 Dinan to Saint Malo - 20 miles (32km)
    • Head through countryside and forests to the bustling old walled maritime town of Saint-Malo. La Villefromoy, your 3-star hotel housed in a former bourgeois residence, is situated along the seafront. B&B
  • Day 6 Day trip from Saint Malo - 22 miles (35.2km)
    • It’s a gentle round trip along the flat coast road towards Cancale, famed for its oyster beds. You’ll be able to look out to the little islands dotted across the sea and stop off for refreshments at one of the beach-side cafés. B&B.
  • Day 7 Saint Malo to Dinard - 5 miles (8km)
    • Your final day of very easy cycling takes you back to Dinard.Our friendly hoteliers will be delighted to hear about your adventures before you settle down for the catch of the day in the restaurant. HB
