We can arrange a private transfer between Bordeaux airport and the hotel - or if you plan to arrive by helicopter there is a landing pad at the hotel.

    • Spa
    • The beautiful Caudalie Vinotherapie spa located next to the hotel offers an exclusive programme of treatments. Each treatment uses a Caudalie beauty care treatment rich in minerals, vine and grape extracts with a high concentration of polyphenols great for there anti-ageing properties. You have two sessions which will be devised for you giving just those treatments that suit you best. Whether it’s a barrel bath, a red wine bath, a Merlot wrap or perhaps a honey and wine wrap you will be well taken care off and end the day feeling relaxed and pampered.
    • The restaurants
    • The half board option includes one dinner in the wonderful La Grande Vigne restaurant inspired by the 18th century orangery and which has a beautiful terrace overlooking an ornamental pond - a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. The two further dinners are taken in La Table du Lavoir country inn. This charming restaurant was originally, as the name suggests, where the grape pickers came to wash their clothing. The menus are listed on the original laundry beaters! The hotel boasts a wonderful wine list from their cellars which hold 15,000 bottles!
    • Wine tasting
    • You will be given a tour of the Château and we have also arranged for a wine tasting course with the Head Wine-Waiter who will offer an interactive tasting around a selection of Smith Haut Lafitte wines. Learn how to recognise the aromas of different grape varieties, how to serve wines and how to achieve the best match between wine and food.
    • Leisure activities
    • Included exclusively in the Belle France package is the wine tasting course and a session on the 3 hole golf course in the hotel grounds. Also available are an outdoor pool, fitness centre, tennis, cycling and a jogging track. There is also a hammam, (a turkish bath adored by the French).
    • Other activities
    • Non spa treatment partners may choose to explore the region’s marvellous Bordeaux wines or simply enjoy access to all the amenities on offer at the hotel.
