    • Head towards the picturesque town of Carennac and up on to the dramatic Causses, the rugged plateau of scrub, gnarled oak and juniper, gradually descending back to river level and the delightful family-run 2-star Hostellerie le Fénelon, with pool.

    • Descend steeply into the Alzou Canyon past crumbling watermills. The scenery is absolutely stunning, and there are plenty of photo opportunities before returning to the hotel.

    • Return to Meyronne through a charming flat valley winding under cliffs past ancient weirs and watermills. Follow the limestone hills to Meyronne and your final stay at La Terrasse, a firm favourite with our customers.
