- Day 1 Arrival in Burgundy (6.5 hours from Calais) - 400 miles (640km)
- Follow the autoroutes all the way to Chalon-sur-Saône and settle into the four star Ermitage de Corton just ten minutes into the northern vineyards near Ladoix-Serrigny. Two nights HB.
- Day 2 Nuits St Georges and Savigny-les-Beaune - 25 miles (40km)
This morning you have a half day introduction to Burgundy wines and vineyards by a local professional, including cellar visits with wine-tasting initiation. After lunch, drive through the vineyards to Château Savigny- les- Beaune to see their fascinating collection of avions de chasse, motorcycles and Arbarth racing cars and a tasting of their estate wines. HB.
- Day 3 Beaune - 25 miles (40km)
Drive into the city centre to explore the region wine capital with museums and art galeries, the famous Hotel Dieu and exclusive wine merchants' shops. Afterwards, drive south through Pommard, Volnay and Meursault to stay at 3-star Hotel Dracy, a few minutes west of Chalon-sur-Saone. Two nights HB.
- Day 4 Chassagne Montrachet and the Cotes de Beaune - 40 miles (64km)
Visit the medieval village of Buxy, or the Duke's Château of Germolles and then to the Château de Chassagne-Montrachet for a wine-tasting lunch. Return via a scenic drive through the vineyards of Mercurey and Rully. HB.
