Outward: Depart St Pancras International station, change stations in Paris, arrive Dijon station late afternoon. Hotel is 5 minutes walk from the station.

Return: Hotel is 5 mins walk from Chagny station, change trains in Dijon and change stations in Paris, arrive St Pancras International station late afternoon.

  • Day 1 Arrival Dijon
    • Burgundy is world renowned for its wines and gastronomy, with Dijon as its capital. Your hotel for the evening is the 4-star Hostellerie du Chapeau Rouge, a charming 15th Century residence at the foot of the Romanesque cathedral. Memorable dinner in the Michelin starred restaurant.
  • Day 2 Dijon to Nuits St Georges - 10 miles (16km)
    • Walking begins in Fixin after a transfer, past famous name vineyards including Gevrey-Chambertin. Follow level tracks and rise up onto the hautes cotes for lovely views to reach your hotel. Just outside Nuits St Georges lies La Gentilhommière, a 3-star hotel with outdoor pool.
  • Day 3 Nuits St Georges to Ladoix Serrigny - 10 miles (16km)
    • Detour into the centre of Nuits St Georges this morning, before heading into the vine-clad hills for a relatively easy walk along quiet lanes. Your stay tonight is at Les Paulands or the Ermitage de Corton both with pools and situated at the edge of vineyards at Ladoix Serrigny.
  • Day 4 Ladoix Serrigny to Beaune - 6.5 miles (10.4km)
    • Today starts with an easy walk to the little town of Savigny, then it’s a gentle descent into Beaune. Visit the Hospices de Beaune whose multicoloured roofs house a fascinating museum. We have chosen the Hôtel Le Cep for tonight’s stay. This prestigious hotel has been welcoming travellers for centuries.
  • Day 5 Beaune to Puligny Montrachet - 12 miles (19.2km)
    • Back into the gentle hills and undulating tracks amongst vineyards for a walk which should take no more than 6 hours. Settle into the Hôtel Le Montrachet which offers gourmet menus and an excellent wine cave. Why not sample a local vintage with your meal.
  • Day 6 Puligny Montrachet to Chagny - 8 miles (12.8km)
    • Take the pathways through the vineyards to Remigny, from where you follow a peaceful towpath along the Canal du Centre to Chagny. Lameloise, your luxury hotel awaits, where you can enjoy a final taste of Burgundy in the Michelin gourmet restaurant which boasts three Michelin Stars.
