A tempting menu
And a good bottle of wine
Breakfast can be a simple matter of a croissant or two or a buffet with pastries, jams, yoghurt, fruit juice, ham and cheese, with plenty of freshly brewed coffee.
For lunchtime, many of our hotels are happy to rustle up a picnic for you. But even better, it’s the ideal opportunity to visit the local markets and stop off at the épicerie and baker to pick up some wonderful fresh provisions for your own al fresco experience.
But the evenings will really get your taste buds going! And the restaurant settings themselves are often spectacular, be it a vine-covered terrace beside the river, or an elegant dining room in an old manor house, providing the perfect place to relax as you reflect on the experiences
of your day.
Evening menu choices
Many of our hotels will have a choice of dishes from a 3 or 4 course menu, so whether you prefer meat or fish, cheese or dessert, there’s sure to be something tempting for you. In fact you’ll often be spoilt for choice – it has been said that this is quite possibly the hardest part of your day! Sometimes you will be offered a fixed regional menu du jour but you have the option to upgrade locally to their à la carte.
Most of our holidays are on a half-board basis, with breakfast and evening meal included. Where you are B&B, we will always have restaurant suggestions for you.
If you do have special dietary requirements please let us know and we will advise our hoteliers who will do their best to cater for you.
